1. Information we collect

Depending on how you use Findzia, we process:

• Search queries, uploaded product images, selected filters, and answers you provide to our shopping assistant.
• Account information provided through Google or Apple sign-in, including your account identifier, email address, and name where available. Apple may provide a private relay email address.
• An optional contact phone number, if you choose to provide one.
• Purchase, search-credit, and payment-status information.
• Technical information, such as IP address, browser information, device or browser identifiers, and diagnostic records.
• Information you send when contacting support.

We do not ask for your Google or Apple password.

1. How we use information

We use information to provide search results and shopping guidance, manage accounts and purchases, track search allowances, prevent misuse, troubleshoot problems, and respond to support requests.

Where applicable data protection law requires a legal basis, we process information to perform our agreement with you, comply with legal obligations, pursue legitimate interests such as service security and fraud prevention, or act on your consent where required.

1. Search and AI providers

Findzia uses external search and AI services, including Google Gemini, Serper, and SerpApi. Search text, uploaded images or image links, and relevant search preferences may be sent to these providers to fulfil your request.

Avoid uploading identity documents, payment information, or images containing sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for a product search.

1. Sign-in, hosting, and payments

Google and Apple process information when you use their sign-in services. Shopify and our backend hosting providers support the operation of our website.

Purchases processed through Paddle are handled by Paddle as merchant of record. Paddle processes payment and billing information under its own privacy policy: https://www.paddle.com/legal/privacy

Findzia receives purchase information needed to provide your search credits. Findzia does not receive your full card number or card security code.

We may also disclose information where legally required or necessary to investigate fraud or protect our service and users.

1. Browser storage

Findzia uses browser storage to support sign-in sessions, preferences, saved products, search history, and guest search allowances. Features marked “On this browser” are stored locally and may be lost if you clear browser data.

When enabled, Google Analytics measures visits, use of search controls, search outcomes, loading times, theme and language choices, and clicks to retailers. Google Ads measures retailer-link conversions. These services may use cookies and device or browser identifiers to measure traffic and campaign performance. Our custom analytics events do not contain your search text, uploaded images, account identifiers, or payment information.

Clearing browser data does not automatically delete server-side account or purchase records.

1. Retailer websites

Findzia links to third-party retailers. Purchases of physical products take place with those retailers, whose own terms and privacy policies apply.

1. Retention and international processing

Retention depends on the information and its purpose, including providing account access, maintaining purchased credits, resolving disputes, preventing abuse, and meeting applicable recordkeeping requirements.

Our providers may process information outside Kuwait, including in countries with different data protection laws. Applicable transfer requirements must be addressed for the services and regions involved.

1. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict processing of, or obtain a copy of your personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent or complain to a data protection authority.

You may object to processing based on legitimate interests, subject to applicable law.

Help & support assistant

When you ask the Findzia support assistant a question, we send that question and a limited amount of recent conversation context to our AI service provider to generate an answer about Findzia. The assistant does not have access to your private account or payment records. Chat messages are kept in the current page session and cleared when you reload the page or change accounts; they are not saved as search history.
